Brøndkær. Only the base and weathered remnants of old garden trees remain after the old outlying farm Brøndkæret (1798), which was solitary and protected by the hills. The journey offers a view over the largest contiguous protected area of North Island. To the east, Kragemosen and Issehoved can be seen. The path through Brøndkæret is the original connection route from Nordby via Langdalen to Kragemosen, where there used to be a shipping point to Sletterhage on Helgenæs.
