Between Veng School & Børnehus and Veng Klosterkirke, there is a marked hiking route in red measuring 3.0 km. The hiking route takes you past the beautiful viewpoint Bavnhøj at 78 meters above sea level. The windmill Venge Mølle was located at Bavnhøj – hence the name Møllestien.
The hike can be extended from Veng Church along the 3.6 km long hiking route Hemstok Skov to Nygårde Skov. Alternatively, you can take the yellow side route, Vengelund, which will give you a beautiful extra hike of 3.5 km.
The routes go via forest roads and footpaths, so they are best suited for sturdy footwear.
