The trail is located on the outskirts of the village and is part of Village Life in Hjortshøj, a non-profit association originating from the Cooperative Society. There is access to the trail from Gl. Kirkevej and the bottom of Østergårdstoften through the hole in the fence (see map). The route is approximately 2 km long, with priority for pedestrians. The trail is not for any machinery other than agricultural, and dogs must be leashed.
