Clover path black in Løkken

The Black Clover Path is part of the Clover Paths, which consist of four hiking routes, all starting and ending at Løkken Torv. With its 11 km, this route is the longest of the four hiking routes, while also being the one that stretches the furthest north. The terrain on the route is relatively flat. As the surface varies along the route and a large part consists of sand, which can be loose, hard, or wet, it is recommended to wear sensible footwear.

The route will for a long stretch take place on the beach from Løkken beach to Nr. Lyngby beach. At Løkken beach, one will among other things see and experience the groin, which was renovated in 2015, as well as the white bathhouses and fishing boats. Additionally, one will also encounter the former rescue house, where the Coastal Fishing Museum is located. Along the beach, one will come across bunkers from World War II, and Lønstrup Cliff, which is made up of sand and clay, where erosion can occur. On the route, one reaches Nr. Lyngby, where the slopes are steep and coastal erosion is severe. On the way back, one passes by Furreby Church, which was built around the year 1200 in Romanesque style.
