The red route starting in Ertebølle is 10 km long. The trip goes out into the open areas by Limfjorden and further through areas with heath and forest. You will also pass by the kitchen midden.
In the nature area by the slopes down towards Limfjorden, the last hunters and gatherers of the Stone Age lived. Today, Ertebølle is a small village, but the name Ertebølle is known because the village lent its name to an exciting period in Danish history - namely the Ertebølle culture.
