This 1.3 kilometer long wheelchair-accessible path goes through meadows and forests and past the Opal Lake, which is the remnants of the former lignite deposit.
Momhøje Plantation covers 80 hectares. During World War II, lignite was mined in Momhøje. To the north, there are four burial mounds; the largest is Store Momhøj, which at 95 meters above sea level is the highest point in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality.
In addition to the wheelchair-accessible path, Momhøje Plantation includes a nature center, nature playground, Momhøje Castle, barbecue areas, camping areas, shelters, a disc golf course, orienteering posts, riding trails, mountain biking routes, and hiking trails.
