Hamborgskoven offers many unique experiences; in addition to the famous Middelaldercenter at the route's starting point, there are several burial mounds in the forest, mountain biking trails, unique nature, and fantastic views over Guldborg Sund.
The main route is just over 5 km, but can easily be extended if you wish to do so. The forest has countless paths you can follow. The forest trip can be advantageously combined with the Sundby Nature Trail, which is marked in yellow on the map.
