The route (or the routes, as there is an option along the way) is called the Leaf Fall Route. The terrain is flat and the path is relatively good, making it the most suitable route for strollers or wheelchairs, but it cannot be guaranteed that there are no "wet spots" along the way. The route starts at the parking lot by Gyvelstien/Grønnevej at Frederikshavnsvej. The first part of the route runs through a forest of old oak trees. At Grønnevej, you can take the short route by going left towards the parking lot, or you can take the long route by going right towards Anne Mettesvej. Here, there is an open meadow on one side and pine forest on the other side. The route continues along Pælebakkevej and back along Gyvelvej towards the parking lot. At the end of the route, you pass through grazing fences with calm steers. The route is marked in green.
