Around Gærum, you will find 5 hiking routes. The routes are established and maintained by citizens of the town. The Blue route passes by the farms Østre Rør and Vestre Rør. You follow field paths, small trails, and gravel roads and come out into the hills with many views and into the agricultural land. There is an information board with a map of the routes at the Tumlepladsen (playground) in Gærum.
