This is one of the shortcuts on the long route.
Åsted Ådal is a nature reserve that, together with Faurholt Hede, forms an area with varied and hilly nature. The many slopes of the valley provide plenty of challenges in the rugged terrain. The place is particularly known for its unique wildlife and plant life, and the old alder trees that stand tall and proud like soldiers along the babbling stream. There is one long route, but with the option to shortcut two places along the way. It is a footpath that requires good footwear in wet periods. There are 3 parking spaces, all with access paths to the main route. So all in all, a trip of 7.5 km to the entrance.
