Search out on this tour that leads to many of Rømø's highlights. You will pass by one of Rømø's highest points, Spidsbjerg, from where there is a beautiful view over the dune landscape. The route also takes you past Rømø Sydstrand, which, with its 4 km, is Denmark's widest and is worth a day trip in itself.
Along the way, you walk along and on some of Rømø's dikes, which protect the area from flooding from the sea. From the top, you can see directly out to the Wadden Sea, which serves as a pantry for millions of birds and is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also pass through Havneby, from where the ferry to Sylt departs, and you can experience Rømø Church, which is a good starting point for the trip.
The trail can be started anywhere and can be combined with Rømø Stinet (yellow) or Ebbestierne (blue).
