Hostrup Krat and Søgård Skov have been designated as bat hotspots by WWF World Wildlife Fund and the Danish Bat Association. Here, a total of 10 out of 17 Danish species of bats live. When you follow the Bat Route, you can learn more about all the fascinating bats that fly in this area, on information panels marked with stars on the map.
The Bat Route at Hostrup Krat is a collaboration between WWF World Wildlife Fund, the Danish Bat Association
and the Nature Agency. The route is supported by the Beckett Foundation.
There is also a Bat Route in Søgård Skov.
