The eastern hiking trail (approx. 4 km)
The route goes both on larger paths and small hiking trails through bog areas. You pass old deciduous forest on relatively dry ground west of Hans Eskildsens Vej and have the opportunity to walk up to “Svedjestykket”, where in the 1950s attempts were made to clear the forest using Stone Age tools and cultivate primitive grain varieties on the burned forest floor.
