One can park either at Lundø Camping, where you start by walking west through the holiday home area, or you can park at the end of Jelsevej and start by walking along the beach. At low tide, you can walk almost a kilometer out onto the spit. Many birds are found here, and you might be lucky enough to see seals. The swimming beach to the west is very child-friendly, as you have to go quite far out before the water gets deep. The route is marked with yellow arrows.
