The Coastal Trail

The tour starts from the rest area where Vangsåvej intersects Klitmøllervej and is marked with white arrows. If you are driving, you can park at the rest area, where there are also toilet facilities and picnic tables. If you are walking, the route starts from the first road on your left when coming from the rest area and heading south along Kystvejen.

The route is 2.3 km and moves through Nystrup Plantation, where due to the hilly terrain of the route, you can enjoy the forest dynamics of the plantation, small clearings, and open areas with views over beautiful heath landscapes. If you want to take a break and enjoy the quiet peace of nature, there is an opportunity to stop at the first point on the route where a picnic table has been set up. The route mainly takes place on small forest paths close to minor slopes, which means you not only have to focus on enjoying nature but also on where you place your feet.
