What can you experience? On this route, you can discover why Jægersborg Dyrehave is the most visited natural area in the country. Here you can see deer, birds, open light forests, and large old oak trees. You will pass by Peter Lieps Hus and Bakken, and will likely encounter chariots on your journey. During the winter months, you can experience deer feeding in several places along Mathildestien.
How is the accessibility? The route is not marked but follows asphalt roads or good, smooth forest paths. Along the way, there are a few benches that provide opportunities to rest.
How do you get there? The route starts and ends at the Dyrehave entrance Klampenborg Port, which is located 50 m from Klampenborg Station. It is easy to get there by both train and bus. The station also has a parking lot where you can park for a fee.
