BLUE ROUTE: 7 km possible detour 9.5 km A trip through the old western part of the town, past the sports center and into the forest in Vænget. Halfway through the southern part of the route, you can take a detour further south, past the ancient monument Duereds Høje, and continue past the beautiful Caprifoliehus, an artist's home built by the painter Jørgen Ploug as a studio – later a restaurant – now a private residence. In the area down by the water, the occupying power during World War II established a supply station for submarines – see the information board on site. Note: there are only remnants of a concrete foundation to see down on the beach. Follow the same path back to the blue route.
