Djursland's Planting Association purchased Egsmark Plantation in 1929 to turn it into a demonstration plantation for all those who want to know more about the plantation and plantation management, and the planting matter in general. Here are, among other things, panels about the association's history and signs about the tree species such as dune pine, Korean pine, thuja, bird cherry, forest pine, beech, larch, and Sitka spruce. It is digitally linked via QR code, so visitors can get more information via smartphone. The plantation is about 13 ha and winds around the many plots with different species of spruce and pine. Further back in the plantation, there is a nice view over Stubbe Lake.
