Afforestation: Nakke Forest - from arable land to nature. A total of 69 ha (1 ha = 10,000 sqm).
Around the car park, former grain fields have turned into forest, forest edges, grasslands, lakes, bogs, and meadows.
The composition of tree species in the new forest is the same as in the old deciduous forests in Odsherred - forests that were all man-made in the 1780s or later.
