Kongsøre Forest has been inhabited since ancient times. Therefore, there are many burial mounds and other ancient relics in the forest.
Follow the route marked with yellow dots on the trees which leads past, among other things, the Ting site and the Prince mounds.
The beach at Sandskredet is a popular excursion destination.
