At Kærgård Strand, where there is a bathing ban in a zone of 1400 m, the Kærgård Strand Path allows hikers to bypass the polluted part of the beach. At the same time, there is an opportunity to pass the area where the toxic pits were located, and in the exhibition at pit 4, one can read more about the pollution and the cleanup afterward. The route is 2.8 km and marked green.
