'Art-tur' route takes you through both old and newer forest, where you can experience a rich birdlife - including several species of woodpeckers that thrive in the older part of the forest and fill the air with their characteristic drumming. Owls breed in the forest and in Erritsø marsh, you might be lucky to spot a kingfisher.
Along the route, you will also encounter two of the municipality's beautiful wooden figures: the owl and the kingfisher.
In Fuglsang forest, 'The Owl' watches over you from its place high up among the branches along the path. If you continue along the path through the forest, you will come to a boardwalk along Erritsø stream. Here awaits the next surprise - a kingfisher, quietly guarding over the flow of the water. You can settle on a bench here and enjoy the gurgling of the stream.
