The stream Ansager Å follows from the Stemmeværkspladsen and into Ansager. Ansager Å winds beautifully through the valley surrounded by meadows and shrubs. In and around the stream, there is a rich wildlife. Water ouzel and kingfisher are frequent winter visitors, while mallards and herons can be found year-round.
