Nørholm Path

Walk or run a trip through the forest at Nørholm Manor. Here you will experience varied nature with both meadows and steep slopes. Part of the forest is managed as traditional forestry, but at the same time, a large part of the forest is untouched and free from human interference. This means that the forest has the characteristics of primeval forest with both fallen and dead trees and new budding trees in the clearings.

Nørholm Path is about 3.8 km long. The path runs along the Varde River, and along the way, you cross the river. It is possible to park either at Nørholm Manor or at the other end by Sig. Be aware that you will not return to the start, so it is a good idea to arrange transport from the other end – or walk back along the path again and experience nature from a completely new perspective.

The path varies greatly, and in some places, it is relatively steep. Therefore, it can be difficult, for example, to drive a stroller.
