Tungelundturen (5.5 km)

The route is 5.5 km long and on less paved roads – it is suitable for all forms of exercise, such as a run. There are many great views along the way, especially two steep hills where valleys with streams are passed. The route can start from Aidt Church along Tidselbjergvej, where there is a nice view over the fields. Then we come to Gl. Tungelundvej with Tungelundbadet, Tungelund Activities Center, and the school. It continues along Gl. Tungelundvej, crossing Skolegade, and here you descend into the valley with a bridge over Hovbækken and through residential areas on the outskirts of Thorsø, as well as passing by the vicarage and Thorsø Church. Then turn left onto Brunhøjvej. On the right side in the field lies Brunhøj, also called Tyskerhøjen, 100 meters above sea level. From the road, there are great views towards Hagsholm forest and the landscape towards Aidt. The road ends at Hovbro, which crosses Hovbækken again on the way to Aidt.
