Borridsø hiking trail red

There are 3 routes (yellow, red, and green) measuring 3.4, 3.6, and 3.8 km respectively. The outer route is 5.9 km. The routes are not marked with posts, but there is a pamphlet available.

The hiking trails at Borridsø are characterized by beautiful rural surroundings and a vibrant village history. On the hiking trails, you can experience stunning nature in peaceful green settings, burial mounds, old forest areas, and man-made waterways. A visit to Borridsø therefore provides a unique insight into the area's history. At the highest points in the area, there is a fantastic view. It is possible to see Sorring Låddenhøj, which is about 20 km away. Two of these highlights are near the parking lot (address Stougårdsvej 5a) and close to the forest ranger's house. Near the parking lot, there is Skovlyst sports field, where there is the possibility for overnight stays and campfires.

The town of Borridsø is located in the westernmost part of Favrskov Municipality, just 1 km from the border with Viborg Municipality. The village consists of eight family homes, two registered farms, and five discontinued farms.
