The Barfod Route (2 km round trip)

Starting point: The route starts at the arrival point to Engene by Villestrup Å at the address Møldrupvej 38, 9510 Arden.

Marking: The marking of the route consists of two footprints. The toes point you in the right direction. One of the footprints has a total of six toes - can you find it?

Experiences: Most of us rarely walk barefoot - especially outside. But here in Villestrup Enge, Dannie Druehyld, the area's well-known self-proclaimed witch, has walked many times with her bare feet. The physical contact with the ground strengthened her connection and knowledge of nature with each step. Will you take off your shoes and walk in her footsteps? The animals in Engene by Villestrup Å: Here, cattle and horses graze to help nature. This provides wild animals and plants with more and better habitats.

This is how you and the animals can have the best experience:

• Enjoy the animals from a minimum of 25 meters away.
• Avoid touching, feeding, or petting the animals.
• Do not walk between an adult and its young.
• Dogs must be on a leash. Please maintain extra distance from the animals.
• Move quietly and calmly through the area.
• Access and stay at your own risk.
