Isfugl trip

Take a scenic hike through Erritsø Forest and Marsh, where nature and art go hand in hand. The journey starts in the west at Mølleskovvej and winds up through the gently rolling terrain to a beautiful viewpoint. From here, you can enjoy the panorama over Erritsø Forest – a perfect spot for a little break and a deep breath.

Further down, the route descends a stairway and onto a 200-meter long boardwalk, which takes you close to the details and sounds of nature. Along the way, you will encounter the impressive sculpture The Kingfisher, created by local artist Mariane Ladegaard Jensen – a piece of art that reflects the area's wildlife and atmosphere.

If you are lucky, you might spot the real thing – the colorful kingfisher – which occasionally appears along Erritsø Stream. The route is a circular path. But you can also continue southeast beyond the boardwalk, where it elegantly connects to the other trail system in Erritsø Marsh, allowing you to easily continue your exploration of the area.
