Stars at Udbyhøj N - Blue route

Part of the Randers Fjord Path Project. The blue route is 5 km and goes from Udbyhøj Marina along the dikes, via the shelter area by the Fjord Centre out to the Vase Houses and back via the forest path and the most beautiful nature and Udbyhøj Town.
At the shelter area, there is 1 shelter, tables, and benches, and a multi-toilet. Water can be obtained at the outer wall of the Fjord Centre.
At the site, a nature restoration project has created frog ponds to protect the wildlife in the area.
Along the route, the view of the Kattegat is breathtaking, and you often see seals and lots of birdlife.
In Udbyhøj, you can enjoy a pancake at Ice and Pancakes during the summer months. Before you return to the harbor, you pass Udbyhøj Beach and Denmark's only cable ferry, Udbyhøj Cable Ferry. It is powered solely by shore power.
At the harbor, you can enjoy an ice cream or a hot dog, borrow fishing gear at Grejbasen, and stay overnight in the floating shelters.

The route is part of the overall red route "Randers Fjord Path," which can be followed all the way (32 km) to Randers.
