The Baunehøj route starts and ends at Lodbjerg Church. There is a parking lot and toilet facilities here. The route enters Lodbjerg Dune Plantation, where you quickly come across a staircase. The stairs lead up to a viewpoint with a good view over Ørum and Flade Lake. From here, the route continues through the forest to Baunehøjene, which are two magnificent Bronze Age mounds that rise 32 meters above sea level. The route continues through the dune plantation's forest and offers 2 additional viewpoints.
The trip is 3.7 km long.
