Lodbjergruten

The route is 9.5 km long and marked in red

The route begins from Lodberg Lighthouse, after which it enters the dune plantation. Here you can find shelter in the dense mountain pine thicket or walk beneath the beautiful blue needles of the Sitka spruce on a windy day by the West Coast. On the way, you can experience the beautiful view over Flade Lake and Ørum Lake at Baunhøj, and perhaps catch a glimpse of Lodbjerg Church among the tree canopies. Along the path, it is also possible to see cattle or other livestock grazing in the open areas, which help to maintain nature and create vistas. If the opportunity arises, you can also spend the night in nature, in one of the shelters, close to the old Lighthouse. You can plan the length of the trip yourself, as there are several parking spots along the dune plantation to access the route. The route in its full length requires that you are used to walking, but offers great nature experiences.
