Krejbjerg, Hjerk Nor, Hjortholm

The tour can start at Jens Væver's Museum in Krejbjerg or at Ginderup Plantation

From Krejbjerg, the first nearly three kilometers of the route are on asphalt along Ginderupvej. At Ginderup Plantation, the route turns right onto a gravel road towards the fjord. At the fjord, you turn right and walk along the beach towards Hjortholm, which is a spit. Depending on the water level in the fjord, it is possible to walk out onto the spit, where many birds gather.

From Hjortholm, the route continues east along the beach. You cross the bridge over the outlet from Hjerk Nor and continue along a footpath to Lysenvej. The route continues away from the fjord along Lysenvej for the next approximately three kilometers. Lysenvej is a gravel road until Rævehøjvej, after which it becomes an asphalt road. After about three kilometers, the route turns right south onto a field road, down over the valley and across Vium Mølledå. After a small stretch of forest, you reach Norvej - first on a gravel road and then turning right onto an asphalt road. The remainder of the route is on asphalt. First along Norvej, then right onto Åbakken, which leads to Krejbjerg and Ginderupvej, where it started.

NOTE: In periods of heavy rainfall or high water levels in the fjord, it is not possible to pass the route section that crosses Vium Mølle Å.
