The path is a footpath, where there are walkways over the wettest areas, allowing access all the way to Sneum Å. The area along the river is designated as a bog. The groundwater is high, which gives rise to a plant community and wildlife, including birds, that is quite unique to this type of nature.
In dry periods, it is possible to walk with hiking shoes, but when it has rained heavily, one must wear boots. If it has rained very much, parts of the area may be flooded, making it impossible to walk on the path.
Rules: The path is marked with blue arrows and it is encouraged not to walk outside the marked trail. Dogs are not allowed on the path, as livestock graze there and we assess that dangerous situations may arise.
