The hiking trail goes around the nature-restored Spøttrup Lake (about 7 km). You pass the bird tower west of the lake with fantastic views over the lake, and east of the lake you pass Spøttrup Castle. There are parking options both west and east of the lake. The path can be soft and a bit difficult to traverse, so practical footwear/rubber boots are recommended.
The route is marked with blue arrows and dots. Dots mean you are on the right path and should continue straight ahead.
The areas around Spøttrup Lake are owned by the Nature Agency.
