The contrast between the flat landscape of Myrhøj Plantage and the hills of the adjacent Uhrehøje Plantage is striking. The plantation is an eldorado for mushroom collectors. After a period of rain, the forest floor in late summer is filled with chanterelles, milk caps, puffballs, and all kinds of bolete mushrooms. In the plantation, you can also find various berries, flowers, and cones, and you might be lucky enough to experience all kinds of animals – from a fallow deer to a tawny owl. The surface of the route consists of asphalt, gravel, dirt, and sand. The terrain is very hilly. The route has 2 parking spaces, and you will also find a nature base in the plantation, which has shelters, a fire pit, and table-bench sets.
