Rudersdal Route

RudersdalRuten is a continuous trail that winds through Rudersdal Municipality. The route is 42.195 km long (the official marathon distance) and stretches from Vedbæk in the east to Birkerød in the west and from Sjælsø in the north to Mølleåen in the south.

RudersdalRuten is suitable for everyone, regardless of who you are and what you want. Hikers, walkers with trekking poles, runners, cyclists, families with children, young or old – everyone is welcome, and everyone has the best opportunities for active adventures and great nature experiences all year round. RudersdalRuten runs along existing trails through a varied landscape from Vedbæk in the east to Kajerød in the west. The route passes through forests and open landscapes, and along the way there are changing terrain, nature, and cultural experiences.
