South of Sæby, the Professor's Plantation and the Kattegat merge together in a unique and exciting nature. Here you can experience both forest, heath, and the fish-rich Kattegat coast by Solsbækken. The trail goes through forests and along the forest edge with the open heath towards the east, which consists of different types of dunes and coastal plant communities. To the south, there is a connecting trail to the summer house area Nørklit. In addition, the North Sea Trail runs through the area. From the trail, there are several opportunities to make a detour to the beach. The route is flat and has a good surface all the way. You will also find a shelter with a view to the east over the dune heath and the sea.
