Start the tour at Vilslev shelter site, where there is also parking. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the city's beautiful houses and heritage conservation area before venturing out into the flat marshlands along the Kongeå River. The route goes via the historic Drivvej. Consider following Drivvejen for a while to Jedsted Mølle, where there has been milling and dam operations for centuries. The stage ends at Gredstedbro Hotel, close to the train station.
The Kongeå Path is a primitive, yet clearly marked trail that stretches a total of 68.5 kilometers. The route is divided into 10 stages and 5 loops, each offering unique natural experiences and exciting cultural history along the Kongeå River. Read more at www.kongeaastien.dk.
