From the shelter area at Frihedsbroen, you can take a round trip west along the Kongeåen and enjoy the beautiful landscape in the valley. An architect-designed bridge, specially designed for the Kongeåsti project, connects the north and south sides. At the starting and ending point of the trip, there is a digital info screen that conveys the history and nature of the Kongeåen.
The Kongeåsti is a primitive, but clearly marked footpath that stretches a total of 68.5 kilometers. The route is divided into 10 stages and 5 round trips, each offering unique natural experiences and exciting cultural history along the Kongeåen. Read more at www.kongeaastien.dk.
