Thise Stone - long route

Welcome to Thise and Thise Path

Thise Path stretches a total of 17.7 km of marked hiking trail that goes around the entire Thise area. The Thise Path is part of Skive Municipality's hiking routes and nature trails, www.skive.dk/stier, connecting the BlueWalk Path and Sundsøre Path with Grættrup Path.

The Thise Path passes through almost all types of nature: shoreline, coastal meadows, pastures, new forests, old forests, marshes, shallow restored lakes, conventional farmland, and organic cattle farms.

The Thise Path has been realized through voluntary agreements with landowners, who have shown great goodwill towards the path project. This means that the course of the path largely runs over private land, private roads, and private joint roads. Users of the path are therefore encouraged to take this into consideration.

In one place, the path passes a fenced area with animals, which is indicated by gates. Users who are uncomfortable around the animals or are bringing dogs can detour via unmarked field paths. Dogs are welcome on the Thise Path on a short leash.

There are no trash bins along the route, and all waste must be taken home by the users.

The route is marked with blue arrows and dots. The dots indicate that you are on the right track and should continue straight ahead.
