Step into a tale where history, nature, and literature merge. The Forgotten Bridges takes you through Sæby's rolling beech forest, shaped by the Ice Age and filled with forgotten connections – wooden and iron bridges, where the footsteps of the past can still be sensed. Here, you cross bridges that have borne both love and railway cars, cobblestone dreams and children’s feet.

Here, you walk along paths where Golden Age painters immortalized the green depths of the forest, and where the love path still holds quiet stories. Along your way, you pass the Muse Trap – an almost magical colossus of concrete that forms a portal between the tranquility of the forest and the city.

One of the other bridges bears the name Adda Ravnkildes Bridge – a tribute to Sæby's own author, who was ahead of his time. The Forgotten Bridges thus connect more than landscapes; it is also the connection between Sæby's past and present.

On this approximately 5 km long walk, the bridges weave the city’s history together – from castle to forest, from town to harbor – in one poetic meeting between man, nature, and time.
