Holdensøruten

The route is 4.8 km long and the marking is red

The route starts from the parking lot on the north side of Lyngbyvej/Store brandlinievej, and leads you further into Københavnerskoven. The forest is named after the naturalist Carl Christian Andresen, who came to Copenhagen, and who on his own initiative and at his own expense attempted to plant trees in the sand. You can see his memorial stone at the foot of Lille Tyvbakke. On the way, you can also stop by Holme Lake and enjoy the view of the water reflecting the forest's appearance with tree species like pine with its almost fire-orange bark. Further west on the route, you can stop at Store Tyvbakke and enjoy the view over the city of Lyngby in the midst of heath and dune landscapes, and if you look further west, you can see the beautiful sea and perhaps hear its roar. The journey alternates between plantations and large open expanses, and can be managed by most, as it is predominantly fine gravel road.
