The Fox Tail Route offers opportunities for some exciting nature experiences, where you can get deeper into the forest's vegetation and feel the varied nature up close.
There is the option of a shorter route (approximately 3 km) or a longer hike (approximately 6.5 km).
The short route is easily accessible, as most of it is on wide paths and gravel roads.
The 6.5 km route goes through more challenging terrain and is a narrower path. Additionally, the 6.5 km route intersects with the red route/Vegedalen Route at the dune planter stone in Nystrup. From here, you can choose to take the red route for a total walk of about 11 km. There is also a newly established viewpoint by the dune planter stone, where you can go up and overlook the heath and the sea.
