From Gl. Rye to Ry, you primarily walk on forest roads. The stage ends just before the town sign. Here you can either continue to Ry and proceed with stage 9b and 10b north of the lakes - or turn west towards Silkeborg on stage 9. In any case, it might be a good idea to do some shopping, eat, and possibly sleep in a bed, if that's what you prefer, in Ry.
