The tour starts in the low part of the Kongeå valley and follows the river's course through lush meadows. You move between the characteristic fen areas – small, enclosed grazing areas where grazing animals keep the vegetation down. The route offers tranquility, wide views, and a rich bird life in the meadows.
The Kongeå Path is a primitive but clearly marked footpath that stretches a total of 68.5 kilometers. The route is divided into 10 stages and 5 loops, each offering unique natural experiences and exciting cultural history along the Kongeå. Read more at www.kongeaastien.dk.
