Riderute Klosterheden East

The rider route East starts in the south at the parking lot on Sækkehusvej by Vilhelmsborgvej. The riding route is approximately 17 km long and if you follow the entire route, you will have a lovely long ride in Klosterheden.

The route stretches across large distances through Klosterheden's fire belts/wild patches, providing you and your horse ample space to roam. The open expanses in these areas provide a good view ahead through the forest, and you may be lucky enough to see the forest's deer grazing here.

One of the highlights of the route is the section south of Skf. Esbjergsvej, which takes you and your horse over the valley where Fruerbæk flows. South of the valley, the route runs through a varied and open piece of forest that is very pleasant to navigate.

Conclude your ride again at the parking lot on Sækkehusvej and take a well-deserved rest at the bench set in the parking lot.

The rider route is marked with yellow horseshoes painted on trees or posts with horseshoe pictograms. The riding route is bidirectional and can therefore be ridden both clockwise and counterclockwise.
