The ride through the forest requires a riding card. You can purchase a day pass online, see Links to the Stiftelsen Sorø Akademi. If you do not want to pay the 60,-kr (2012), you can instead ride through Lårup and Orebo, then continue along the route.
It is a really nice round trip.
In Naturpark Åmosen with its open expanses where you can see far, you may be lucky enough to see both Red Deer, White-tailed Eagle, Kites, and others. The forest has other animals to offer, and there are of course also just a few paved roads with varying traffic.
