Ride along/on regional cycle route 29 (56 km).

The Ridestien/regional cycle route 29 takes you through beautiful natural areas around the Gudenå River and Gjern Ådal. In the scenic Hornbæk Enge near Randers, the path rolls along a dyke that brings you very close to fish and sea eagles and more than 200 bird species. Along the path, there are clear remnants of the railway such as station buildings, railway bridges (the Blue Bridge in Randers, the Old Railway Bridge in Langå, Remstrup Bridges in Silkeborg), a water tower for the steam locomotives (Langå), and the high embankment, which was necessary in several places for the line to cross valleys and wetlands. The railway path is an asphalted route where the tracks have been removed. The path connects Resenbro with Langå and passes by several forests, streams, lakes, meadows, and bogs, with a total length of about 34 km. The path is accessible on foot, by bike, or on horseback.
