The route navigates the rider through an area with vulnerable and rare natural types. Considering the protection, the intention has been to create a route that provides the greatest possible and varied nature experiences in a landscape that shifts from beach to heaths, through plantations to open fields and fresh lakes.
Along the way, four rest folds are passed, which are established in connection with shelter places. A rest fold is a small enclosure with a water trough and a limited possibility for feed (grass).
