Riderute Klosterheden North

The riding route starts from the parking lot on Hollandsvej and moves southeast from there. If you are driving south or east to Klosterheden, you can park at the parking lot immediately east of where Lupinvej crosses Gl. Landevej and access the route there.

If you ride the route clockwise starting from Hollandsvej, you will shortly after the start ride along the valley north of Sandehusvej. In the valley, in addition to enjoying the beautiful view, you can experience a rich birdlife and perhaps hear the babbling of the brook.

After the valley, the route goes south, primarily along Klosterheden's firebreaks/wild hedges. On the southernmost stretch of the route, west from Lupinvej, you will ride through a beautiful and open forest area with pine trees. After that, the journey goes north again primarily via gravel and forest roads, and after approximately 17 km of the route, you will be back at the parking lot on Hollandsvej.

After the ride, you can relax at the picnic table set in the parking lot.

The riding route is marked with yellow horseshoes painted on trees or posts with horseshoe pictograms. The riding route is bi-directional and can therefore be ridden both clockwise and counterclockwise.
